The schools who are members of the Basildon Education Partnership (BEP), registered charity number 1138281, have been working in collaboration since 2010 to raise the attainment and aspirations of our children.

We believe that every child has the right to an outstanding education regardless of background or circumstances. We believe that our approach to partnership working across Basildon Primary Schools will improve the life chances of every child in our schools as well as developing and strengthening the capacity of each school.

We aspire to accelerate the pace of continuous improvement in Basildon to ensure that all primary schools in the town are graded good or better as soon as possible, and that every pupil is taught by good or better teachers with a curriculum that enables and promotes lifelong learning. We are committed to increasing the number of outstanding schools in Basildon and to establishing the partnership of schools in Basildon as a national beacon of excellence in educational provision.

We believe that variety in educational provision and differences in philosophy and ethos between schools should at all times be maintained. Our focus covers all aspects of education: pupil achievement; pupil progress; curriculum; assessment; school leadership; financial management; recruitment and development of teachers; pupil safety and well-being; and the engagement of families and the wider community of Basildon. We believe that joint effort, sharing of perspectives, exchange, challenge and debate based on mutual respect will continue to raise educational standards in our schools.
